The place that you’re invited to
Situated downtown outside Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre, šxʷƛ̓exən Xwtl’a7shn hosts an array of outdoor performances and festivals year-round, including movie nights and dance classes.
šxʷƛ̓exən is a name in the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language that means “the place that you’re invited to.” Xwtl’a7shn is a name in the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh language that means “a place where people are invited to celebrate.”
